Jasmyn’s 30 Pound Successful Weight Loss

Jasmyn, Phoenix, Arizona

Jillian Michaels came to the aid of Jasmyn from Phoenix, Arizona. Jasmyn had always been active and never had a weight problem until her last year of college, when she gained 30 pounds.

Not realizing just how much weight she had gained due to the stress of college and poor relationships, her ah ha moment came when she started having chest pains. Due to the chest pain Jasmyn went for a physical and was shocked when the scales read 152, she had never been over 130 pounds in her life.

Like thousands of us Jasmyn changed her daily diet, but came to a standstill after losing 15 pounds. She admitted that getting motivated, to exercise daily was a losing battle for her.

Jasmyn weight had not gotten to the point of obesity, but she was uncomfortable and self-conscious in her own body and had started to worry about her health.

Jillian not only helped Jasmyn to lose her excess weight, her 64 year old father also started losing weight due to Jillian’s help as well.

Below you will find how Jasmyn finally succeeded in her weight loss with Jillian Michael’s help:

After realizing I had to lose some weight, I started eating better on my own and lost between 10 and 15 pounds. I wanted to lose more, but I couldn’t motivate myself to exercise. My friend and workout partner bought Jillian’s Winning by Losing, and we followed her 12-week workout program. Then, when Making the Cut came out, it had my name written all over it! I only wanted to lose 10 to 20 pounds, get stronger, and tone up. I thought, “Do it right or don’t do it at all!” I took the food quiz and started following the Balanced Oxidizer plan and the intense 30-day workout routine. I was working out four days a week, and one other day I would try to do a Pilates or spin class.

I feel as though I can do anything now! I am so motivated to push myself and strive for the best! I just got a new job as a formulation scientist, which means I’m finally using my biochemistry degree. I recently attended a women-in-leadership conference and completed training to be a Junior Achievement volunteer. Now that I’m taking better care of myself, I can give back — and that feels great! The truly best thing is being proud of myself. I knew I was gaining weight, and nobody had to tell me. It was about me finding the motivation and energy to get things going. Having Jillian as if she was right there talking to me was the motivation I needed to get the wheels in motion!

Sammi Giancola Of Jersey Shore’ Weight Loss

Sammi GiancolaWhile shooting the second season of Jersey Shores in Miami, Sammi Giancola added a few extra pounds.

While watching all the beautiful women on the beach, she decided she needed to take off a few pounds and would have to get serious about her weight loss.

The first thing to go was her favorite pasta dishes, along with other dishes, which are loaded with carbohydrates. She also started a daily exercise routine, which included cardio workouts.

Sammi admitted missing pasta most of all, but she has now replaced pasta with fresh vegetable dishes.

After making a few changes in her daily diet and including an intensive cardio exercise routine into her busy life, the weight just seemed to fall off, she stated.

Soccer drills, jogging and sprinting are all a part of Sammi’s daily exercise routine.

While reading Celeb Diet Doc, I came upon a suggestion stating you should remember not to completely cut carbohydrates, from your daily diet.

Remember don’t get hung up on the “all carbs” are evil bandwagon.  Bottom line is that processed carbs in the form of breads, pastas, cakes (I know say it ain’t so) are responsible for weight gain.  “Carbs” from fruit and veggies will help you lose weight.
