Peter Arnell Redesigned Life And Lost 256 Pounds
Peter Arnell appeared on the Today Show, to discuss his book, Shift, with Matt Lauer, which explains his lifestyle changes in his daily diet and exercise while on his weight loss journey.
He explained that he applied some of the same strategies he used when working with companies and designing for their brands such as Donna Karan, Home Depot and Samsung, to aid him in losing 256 pounds.
Peter stated that he is not a person who makes excuses nor does he look for them, he does not consider himself a victim of his thoughts or actions any more. Once he had lost his weight he accepted the fact that the time for blaming himself for the weight problem was over, he could genuinely start a totally new lifestyle which he has done.
At 400 pounds Peter was morbidly obese and wore size 68 inch waist pants and size 56 jackets, large baggy shirts and huge baggy trousers were a trade mark for him. Those people that did not know him judged him by the way he looked and dressed rather than the intelligent person that he was.
Peter told Matt, that when he made the decision to remove all barriers and change the life he had created for himself, he then freed his thoughts and actions to go from 400 pounds to 150. He made the decision to stop blaming himself for his past mistakes and take possession of today so that he could lose the excess weight and have a healthier life.
Peter’s book Shift can be found on Amazon. You can discover the amazing journey, which transformed him on his way to becoming a new man.
Designing the new OJ carton for the Tropicana Company paid Arnell $35 million. Although after the redesign, the sales of their OJ brand collapsed and there was a storm of protest from consumers who preferred the old familiar design.
In his interviews Arnell states that he has an obsession with eating oranges he also states it is not uncommon for him to eat as many as 50 oranges per day. It has been said he carries a basket of oranges with him at all times.
