Jersey Shore Star Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola Diet & Weight Loss
Jersey Shore star Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola recently revealed she gave up every good ‘guidette’s’ favorite dish – pasta – in an effort to lose weight.
And the reality TV star saw swift results thanks to her new no carb diet.
The 23-year-old lost 15 lbs, and slipped straight into a bikini to flaunt her transformed figure in a photo shoot for Life & Style magazine.
“I just changed my diet, and the next thing you know the pounds just came off. You have to look good in Miami because beautiful people are everywhere you look! You don’t want to turn into a slob,” says Sammy.
She started out by cutting all the carbs from her diet, and the toughest one was giving up her favorite food – pasta.
“I miss it like crazy, but I don’t eat pasta anymore. I eat my vegetables and try to stay healthy,” confesses Sami.
To compliment her new healthy diet, Sammi also exercises regularly. Her intensive cardio routine helps her burn the calories and keep the weight off.
“I do soccer drills — I jog a lap, then sprint, jog the rest of the way, then sprint again,” she adds.
This intense weight loss regimen not only helped Sammi lose 15 pounds, but also helped removed the stress and pressure to look fit in Miami.
